Stush Doviat is PADI Regional Manager for the Northeast, which includes Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, West Virginia, The United States Virgin Islands and The British Virgin Islands. Stush has held this position since January 1992.
Stush has been involved in the business of diving and diving education for over 35 years starting as a Divemaster. A Full Cave Diver, Stush enjoys diving the North Florida springs and once held a National Speleological Society – Cave Diving Section, Cavern Diver Instructor rating. Stush participated in several expeditions off of the coast of Key West, FL, exploring the wreck of the USS Wilkes-Barre. The wrecks of the 1000 Islands region of the St. Lawrence River on the New York/Canadian boarder have always caught his interest.
Stush lives in the shadow of the Chestnut Ridge Mountain Range of the Allegheny Mountains in rural Western Pennsylvania with his wife Diana, also a diver, and their Samoyed dogs. Stush is a PADI Course Director and has been a PADI Member Instructor since 1979.
